So yeah, I posted a while ago about doing stories based on prompts. I decided to get the ball rolling on something I’ve already written. It’s on Archive of Our Own, as you can see with the link, feel free to give it a read, comment/criticize/suggest, I do plan on doing more.
This was a fun little fic done after grapefruittwostep, myself, and a few of our friends played League of Legends online and chatted like one of the trolls. I was dared to do a fanfiction of it, and this resulted from it.
omg do you ever just have severe intense feelings about a ship and you want to DO SOMETHING about it like write fic or make a video or graphics but for some reason no matter how intense your feelings are you just CAN’T make anything so you sit at your computer vibrating with the intensity of your feelings that you can’t do anything about

Homestuck Fandom: WRRRRYYYYYYYY?
So yeah, time to get my first *actual* blog post up, and it is regarding the Homestuck Fandom.
As a whole, I like it. A day doesn’t go by on tumblr and Archive of Our Own where I find the sickest rhymes, the coolest art, and some just Really Cool Shit (TM) somewhere. But then, there are days, where I get really confused, and just going “Whaaa?” and one of these things is Jake English.
Jake English is an awesome guy, a proper gentleman, and a sick master of GUN FU, but literally the day or so after he was revealed, Homestuck exploded with constant fan art. Like never before have I seen such a large explosion of art than for when this character was revealed. And the most confusing part is that right away, it was all Sexy Jake art and such, which makes me really confused.
We just met the guy and suddenly the fandom exploded.
I like fanart as much as the next person but it seemed…excessive to me. Now Bro and Brobot have gotten revealed and are experiencing similar treatment. I just am confused; I usually take some time to get connected to the characters, see who they interact with and then decided pairings from there and such. So I guess I’m just at a loss at the sudden explosion of fan art, the choosing of pairings and the sheer speed at which this has happened.
If this is normal, then alright, I just work at a different speed. But it still seems a little odd.
I dunno, just wanted to say this and get it off my chest.

1. No previous Elder Scrolls experience is needed. It can enrich the experience, but its not vital for it.
2. There is no online play, so this is a non-factor.
3. The best thing? Probably the combat, magic is now freaking viable, especially destruction. The worst would have to be the shortness of quest lines.
